College Center

Integral to the success of our high school program is the Director of College and Career Counseling, who works with our students to craft their individual graduation plans and ensure they are on track to successfully complete their college preparatory coursework and applications for college. Our Director, Mr. Edwin Co, holds extensive experience developing successful high school college counseling programs, and has served as an academic counselor at the college level as well.  He serves as a counseling resource to all of our high school students as they make decisions about where they would like to attend college, complete the college application process, and apply for financial aid.

Mr. Co also works directly with the administrative team to ensure all core academic courses are college preparatory and meet the rigor required by the University of California A-G approval process.

All our sophomores and juniors take the PSAT, on site, in October each year, which provides baseline and then growth information for our students.  Mr. Co coordinates the PSAT and assists student with registering for the SAT (offsite locations) and AP exams, which also take place on campus in the spring.

Our College Center, which Mr. Co directs, serves as our hub and point of contact for universities and our students.  It is also a space where students can use technology to conduct virtual tours of schools they might be interested in attending or work on their college or financial aid applications.  Throughout the year, Mr. Co coordinates college field trips and campus visits from university admissions officers.

Our graduating classes have gone on to schools such as Stanford University, UC Berkeley, NYU, Cal Poly and Emory University. Full list of acceptances HERE.
