Oregon Shakespeare Festival

Join the LFP Drama department for an incredible, 3-night trip to the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival (OSF) in Ashland, Oregon on September 9-11, 2017. Students will be immersed in the festival and attend five performances at OSF, tour the festival, explore Ashland, as well as attend workshops at Southern Oregon University.

This amazing trip will no doubt inspire a lifelong relationship to theatre and the works of William Shakespeare - in addition to being incredibly fun!

We are asking all qualifying students to please make your deposit of $100 by June 15th to save your seat.
 
We are asking all qualifying students to submit full payment of $480 by August 23rd
(No qualifying student will be denied access to this trip if they are unable to pay.)

 

If you'd like to pay in full you may do so now. If you'd like to sponsor another student's trip you may also do so. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. Deposits will go towards your full balance or towards the balance of another student in need of financial assistance.

Travel Dates: Via US Coachways Charter Bus

       Leave LFP  @ 5am

       Arrive Ashland @5pm

Monday, September 11th

       Leave Ashland @ 10am

       Arrive LFP @ 10pm

Accommodations:

Southern Oregon University Guest Dorms

       2 Students per room

       Breakfast and Dinner (Saturday and Sunday) included

"The Merry Wives of Windsor" by William Shakespeare

"Henry IV Part One" by William Shakespeare

"The Odyssey" by Homer, adapted for the stage by Mary Zimmerman

"Shakespeare in Love" Based on the screenplay by Marc Norman & Tom Stoppard - Adapted for the stage by Lee Hall (U.S. Premiere)

"Disney's Beauty and the Beast"
