Reminder - We are instituting a weekly early dismissal day on THURSDAYS this year in response to feedback from teachers about the need for more time to collaborate and plan and a desire for more high quality professional development.  Planning together and participating in professional development helps to ensure that our instruction involves meaningful, challenging, differentiated, and quality learning experiences for all students, including:

Welcome to Larchmont Charter School!  We are celebrating our 10^th anniversary this year!  Larchmont was founded by parents seeking an inspiring, vibrant, progressive public school that fully reflected the rich diversity of LA and the world.  Larchmont Charter began with 120 kindergarten through 2^nd grade students on 1 campus and has grown tenfold to 1,440 students from kindergarten through 12^th grade on 4 campuses.

I hope you are doing well and having a great summer! I’m writing to reflect on the 2014-15 school year and preview what is in store for 2015-16. My first year at Larchmont has been wonderful. Meeting and working with such a caring, deeply committed and passionate community has been tremendously exciting and rewarding.
